Alka Yagnik, Famous Indian Playback Singer is one of the most respectable personalities in Indian cinema. She has set the record for having been nominated 36 times for the Filmfare Award for best female playback singer and has been twice the winner of two National Film Awards. Alka sang in various languages apart from Hindi-Urdu, including English, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Punjabi, Bhojpuri, Bengali and so on.
